The tradition lives! I love this day but have only participated twice in my life when the kids were small and we took baskets to neighbors. Beautiful pictures as usual, Alison.
How neat are those! I have never done May Day, but I have often thought about it...maybe next year I will quite thinking about it and actually do it. You made some people smile today! :)
Happy May Day to you, Alison! The pansies are lovely...just seeing the pictures makes me anxious to start pressing pansies and violas. So far all I've pressed this spring are the wild prairie crocuses.
Thanks soo much Al for the lovely flowers. What a special surprise! I still dont have your number yet so guess i better track that down but for now THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Heather
I am getting the gardening bug from looking at your blog. I haven't had a vegetable garden for quite a few years, but I may have to try it again...hmmm??
We were just saying at work that nobody does May Day Baskets anymore! Glad to see someone still has the heart and creativity! Happy May Day! And yes...Paige would probably have the time of her life playing dollies with Maya - only she doesn't have triplets in a backpack like Maya does! We miss you lots!

These are beautiful! We've done May baskets different times, but always candy, not flowers. I love this idea!
Somehow I knew you'd be doing May Baskets. ;) Very, very nice.
Beautiful pansies and Happy May Day to you too!
