My Mother, My Friend

*****
If I were more thoughtful
and less remiss;

If I had more patience
and was less impulsive;

If I were more loving
and less bothered;

If I had more sympathy
and less apathy;

If I were more gentle
and less troubled;

If I were these things;
then I would be my Mother.

Thank you Mom for being a wonderful example to follow.
I Love You,

You know, we all eventually turn into versions of our mothers...and that's a good thing when we've been blessed with the godly mothers God gave us. And then to see our daughters become mothers and find the value in the disciplines and morals you tried your best to pass along to them is truly gratifying. Your picture is priceless...Happy Mother's Day dear Judy and Alison!

Much love,

Alison, Thank You so much!!! You are way too nice to me. Being a mother and now a grandmother is one of the most blessed priveleges of my life. Thank you so much for being the wonderful daughter you are. Much Much Love from Mom

dear appreciating Mother,

Such a sweet tribute to your Mom!
Yes, time has it's way with these things. I hope for all of my moms good qualities, and then to pass only my good ones on to my girls as well!
Hope you had a lovely day too.
