They're Back

On saturday we heard a meadowlark singing in the backyard. I ran to the window and saw it perched in the top of this tree. By the time I grabbed my camera and got back to the window it was flying away so I snapped this picture of Mr. Meadowlark in flight.

Come back soon!

So neat to see you blogging again! Always fun to see what's going on. We heard our first Meadowlark on the first day of spring. It's always a welcome sound after such a long, cold winter. Take care.

Hey Alison!!! SOOOO good to see you back in blogland. You are the ultimate blogger -- I've really missed keeping in touch with your sweet family this way. I saw a picture of Mia at Emery's wedding and thought it must be Kyla because she's so grown up! I'm behind the times for sure but looking forward to Ronan early preps again and thankful for my privilege to be included again this year. Take care and all the best! Love, d.

GREAT wing shot! They are so beautiful. I've been hoping to make a post like this about our blue heron on the pond but I haven't seen them yet, much less snapped a photo.

That's a really cool picture! It has been "Return of the Robins" around here. They are cleaning up all the crab apples in our front yard. They must be slightly fermented because I can't tell you how many robins have smacked into our livingroom windows over the past couple days! Poor things!
