More June Company

Anna and her kiddos were in town this last week while Adrian is doing some work here in the valley. It was fun to have them stop by for some playtime together last Wednesday.
Thanks for coming to play Ella, Tessa, Jacey and Aaron!
Hope to see you again,

Memory Lane Monday: Newport, Oregon

When Uncle Ryan and Aunt Jeannie lived in Oregon, we got to visit them their a couple times. Here is a quick trip we took over the weekend of the 4th in 2005. Wouldn't it be fun to go back again someday?

The Memories this week will just have to be in pictures. And what great memories they bring back.

Jon Schmidt-Pianist/Composer

We got to go to a wonderful piano concert a week ago today. If you haven't already figured it out... WE LOVE MUSIC. So when my cousin in Illinois told us that this guy was going to be playing a free concert here in our town, we knew we had to set aside that evening to go and listen.

I kick myself for not getting better video of some of the amazing songs he played but here are a couple videos-not great or real impressive. I'll attach some youtube links so you can see how he really plays! Good stuff and very inspiring...

Here are some more songs he performed taken from youtube...

Thanks Andrea V!

A Mountain Railroad

This was so so much fun! Randy and I got to take pictures for this special couple on their special day in a very special place.

I had a hard time picking out my favorite picture to share but here are a few...

Thanks Kenny and Lichen for asking us to do your pictures. We enjoyed it so much and it was fun to share it all with you.

Hope your enjoying the ride so far!

Best wishes,

Memory Lane Monday: Father's Day

How quickly the years go by and the kids change when you look at year to year pictures. Back in May of 2009 I did a post of all my Mother's Day pictures since I first became a mother. Yesterday, after we took our annual Father's Day Pictures, I thought it was time for a father's Day post through the years...

First Fathers Day with Kyla in 2001 (not really a posed picture but good enough ;)

For Father's Day 2002 we bought Daddy this tree...

In front of the Father's Day tree in 2003...

And again in 2004...

Complete with 3 in 2005...

In 2006 we were in our new house so no more tree...

And in 2007...

Father's Day in 2008 by the barn...

And in 2009 in Havre overnight (didn't actually get a picture on Father's Day)

Up to date in 2010!

Hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day!

Last Day of School

The last day of school for Kyla and Colter was June 8th. It was a beautiful morning so we rode our bikes to school. I took my camera along too. Here are some pictures of our ride...

Maya and I always ride along as it is about 2 miles to the school. We are always happy when it's a nice morning and we can ride bikes!

I am playing quick catchup this morning so the easiest way is to post these slide shows. We are enjoying our summer so far! Hope you are too!
