Early Morning Walk

One morning last week I took my camera with me on my morning walk. The farm fields are so pretty now, clothed in their lush green splendor. The cloudy morning made the blues of the mountains even more vivid....

The picture below is taken looking North. You can see our ski slopes...

A chokecherry bush in bloom along the road...

Looking toward the canyon and the park. Looks like there is still lots of snow up there...
O Zion, that bringeth good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain...

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

-Isaiah 40: 9-11

Looking west toward our house. We are somewhere behind the grouping of trees...
Ribbon of road...

A tractor in the field...
Waving in the breeze...
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
...Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithall shall we be clothed?
For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself...
-Matthew 6: 30-34

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
-Isaiah 40: 8

We are looking forward to special days ahead. May we find comfort in our walk of life as we see the wonderful creation of God around us and realize again that he wants to do an even greater work within our hearts and lives. One step at a time...

Good days to all.

With love,

Hi Alison!
I was just on my daughter, Ali's, blog and saw your message to her. How truly sweet of you to write! That was a nice surprise! So I had to come over to your blog...wow, are you an awesome photographer!! Someday when I have nothing else to do (ha!) I am going to sit down and look at your past blogs.

I loved your grandparents and really miss their presence here even though we didn't get to see each other as often as I would have liked. And I love the times we have gotten to spend with your mom and dad in recent years and I hope we can all get together soon again! They are fun people! Your family is beautiful! I'm just so glad you wrote so we can stay a bit connected through these great blogs.

It has been a tough year for our family, but it has been the prayers of so many good Godly people that have carried us through...thank you for your prayers! We don't understand, but we keep trusting in God's perfect plan and purpose for our lives.

Keep blogging Alison...I will check regularly!

Love from Minnesota,
Annie Watts
