No, it's not me that's happy for snow...But there are three kids living in this house that were very happy to wake up yesterday morning to snow on the ground! Maya couldn't wait for me to get out her winter clothes so she could head outside and roll around in the snow.
And what am I happy/thankful for? After reading Kate's blog tonight, I decided to copy her and say 3 things I'm thankful for. So here it is...
1. I'm thankful that my kids are all tucked in there beds tonight. Clean, healthy (except for Kyla's little cold) and well played out.
2. I'm thankful for special company (Loren and Larry) this week and special times with family (2 birthday parties)
3. I'm thankful for a warm cozy fire...It's COLD! And I'm not so thankful for the snow but for the kids sake... well, okay... but it better melt and warm up soon... ;)
I've been a little behind on posting and visiting lately but hopefully, I will get caught up sometime soon. Thanks to all who stop by and for your comments! They make my day! :)

Thanks for the fun post, and it is snowing here again today. Cold, cold, cold. I think I'm going to make hot chocolate. What about you??? Wish we were closer to share some together while chatting. My hubby is out once again guiding hunters.
eee gads!! Snow?? We were "freezing" at convention this weekend - it was in the 50's. ;) Just wanted to stop by and say hi.
Ah, how great to have a warm cozy fire. I've always wanted a fireplace, maybe we'll have to add one. Isn't it amazing how this cold came so early! Hopefully there's some more beautiful fall days ahead.
Our kids woke up to their first snow today! It's coming down fast, but not sticking too well to the grass (yet). I could barely feed the kids quick enough..and they were out!
Noo... not quite ready for snow yet,though yours looks so pretty.
