When Daddy Let Me Drive

It was just an old hand me down Ford...

Gray and red tractor with dents in the metal...

A young boy, two hands on the wheel...

I can't replace the way it made me feel...
When Daddy let me drive.

A piece of my childhood will never be forgotten.

~Lyrics from Drive by Alan Jackson (with a couple word changes ;)

Colter got to drive the tractor on it's way into our garage for repairs. Now it's sitting up on blocks waiting for some parts. It's such a great old tractor...

Have a great weekend!

:) This is sweet! Reminds me of when my grandpa taught me how to drive the old yellow VW Beetle :)

I love your photos & the way you edited them with picnik. Benjamin was very pleased to see that Colter still likes tractors.

Hi Alison, I'm planning to leave comments on your current post, but I am feeling a bit guilty because I don't comment as often as I could. I thoroughly enjoyed these father/son tractor pictures, they are just great. My nephew Tyler has one of our dad's older tractors and he's using it. We are happy it is still useful to him.
