Not only did we get to celebrate Colter's Birthday in Glacier Park, we also got to celebrate it with Grandpa Larry and Linda (she came all the way from Virginia)! Here we are in front of the Lake McDonald Lodge after a wonderful lunch. After lunch we headed out to have a ride on the Lake McDonald Tour Boat. Here is Colter in the very front of the boat (below).

Then we headed to Apgar for a some swimming and lounging around on the beach...
Then Grandpa Steve and Grandma Judy joined us for a barbeque supper and birthday party...

P.S. For those of you who are wondering... yes, you can have firearms in the park this year. The bb gun is only an air gun but nice to know we were totally okay with having it... :)

What a nice birthday for Colter. I remember when we celebrated Kyla's 8th birthday in the Park and this one looks every bit as special. I bet Maya's hoping for a warm fall day a couple years from now so she can have the same experience!

The looks on your little guys' face are so classic and remind me of my boys. Our youngest just turned 9 on the 27th of July. We had his party at the park, and there were LEGOS involved too! He is crazy about them.

I grew up shooting a BB gun... I love it! ;) They have pink ones now and I really want one! the picture of him on the front of the boat is amazing! and the last one with all the canoes! love that one too!
