Randy took Kyla out on the first Saturday of Hunting Season and she got the little buck above.
It was Colter's turn next and both he and Randy hung up deer in the garage...

Melita wanted to help too so we found her a plastic knife and she's cutting off some of the fat from the bones for Tober...

Then we made lots of snack jerky. Here is the seasoned meat, ready to be squeezed out on racks and put in the smoker. We are still enjoying jerky and when it's gone, we'll make some more...
It turned out to be a successful Deer Hunting Season!
