It's That Time of Year Again...

Spilling over the Cabela's catalog,

spending time at The Sportsman,

reloading,

target shooting up on the mountain,

and the tags arriving in the mail.

Must be well prepared for this "season"!

Wishing you the best, "Deer"!

Fall... aka.. hunting season! It wasn't until I married a die-hard hunter did I realize how long the season really is! Yet it fills our freezer with meat! :)

Oh the joys of hunting season! I think we should start a blog for hunter's wives...when we are lonesome and wishing our husbands are home during the evening. It seems that "the call of the wild" lasts until the middle of December around here. Thanks for the post Allison, and I hope he gets one soon. For your sake!!! ;)

LOL!!! Which deer is that again! Your post cracked me up.

I came from a hunting family, and one time went out with my brothers and dad when I was quite young. I was really upset about the whole thing, until my dad said that Bambi was on one mountain and the bad dear were on the other mountain. It worked for about 30 seconds, until I decided I didn't want any deer died..BAD or GOOD. They didn't take me again...can't figure that out. ;-)
