A New School Year Begins and a New Attempt at Blogging :)

Our school days have started again here at our house.  I've felt the need to update this blog again, so here is my feeble attempt at putting on a couple pictures tonight.  Our lives are full and rich and exhausting at times as we go about our days.  Just reminded tonight again, how lucky we are.

A little update on the kids...

Kyla is in 8th grade now.  She enjoys playing the piano and recently began playing the violin.  She also enjoys baking, writing, reading, making things and working out. 

Colter is in 5th grade now.  He plays the piano and recently began guitar lessons.  In his spare time he enjoys taking care of his goats, building and flying RC airplanes, and riding his bike.

Maya is in 4th grade now.  She enjoys playing the piano as well.  She also likes to play with her American Girls and stuffed animals, and she loves to make things.

And then I must tell you about a little girl named Melita...
She likes to do all of the above.  So she tries and tries to be all grown up like her older siblings.  Oh how we love her little spirit.  And oh, how tired she is when she hits that pillow at night. 

But, not to be left behind, she was up and ready to start school (pajamas and all) on Tuesday morning with the other kids...

Hope all are doing well.  Sure thinking of all our friends and family and many others who are facing difficult times these days.  Just thinking of all and reaching out in thoughts and prayer, when the miles are great and the needs are so many.
